Jon is the Senior Partner of MW Trade Marks and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute Of Trade Mark Attorneys. The Legal Adviser Awards 2019 recognised him as the “Leading Trade Mark Lawyer of the Year, UK”. In addition, Jon was voted the “Trade Mark Lawyer of the Year” at the annual ACQ5 Global Awards 2019.

Jon is an expert advisor to the UKTI, the Government Department supporting UK businesses. He previously worked as a senior in-house trade mark attorney for Richemont, an international luxury goods group for over 10 years where he acquired extensive commercial experience working on mergers, acquisitions, brand creation, protection strategies, global enforcement and licensing programs.

He was also a Senior Trade Mark Attorney at Baker & McKenzie, the largest international law firm specializing in IP, offering trade mark services to some of the leading brand-owning companies in the world.

Anne is a Partner at MW Trade Marks and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys. Anne has previous experience as a Partner for 12 years at a London trade mark and patent practice and has been qualified for over 20 years.

Anne has been recognised by the Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Awards 2019, having previously won the award in 2017. She is listed in the Legal 500 as providing advice which is “international in scope and commercial”. Anne qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney excelling in the final Trade Mark Law Examinations and earning the Elizabeth Bennett Memorial Award.

Much of Anne’s workload focuses on handling trade mark conflicts. Anne has built up a practice assisting professional membership institutes and she manages international portfolios of IP rights. She represents clients at inter partes hearings and also advises on domain name conflicts.

Anne was a member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys for over 10 years. She has served on several Committees and chaired the Education & Training Committee, the Trade Mark Administrators Committee and the Joint Examination Board. This is in addition to acting as an examiner, lecturer and tutor in trade marks.

Anne is the contributor for the UK chapter of the well-respected publication “Trade Marks Throughout the World”.
