Jon is the Senior Partner of MW Trade Marks and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys. He has been practising for almost 40 years and has won multiple professional awards, including being named Trade Mark Lawyer of the Year on a number of occasions.
Jon is an expert advisor to the UKTI, the Government Department supporting UK businesses. He previously worked as a senior in-house trade mark attorney for Richemont, an international luxury goods group for over 10 years where he acquired extensive commercial experience working on mergers, acquisitions, brand creation, protection strategies, global enforcement and licensing programs.
He was also a Senior Trade Mark Attorney at Baker & McKenzie, the largest international law firm specializing in IP, offering trade mark services to some of the leading brand-owning companies in the world.
